Nirmata (Makers)

Dil Bechara is an adaptation of the book The Fault In Our Stars. Hollywood has already made a movie on the book with the same name, and now, it was time for Bollywood explore it. Well, casting director, Mukesh Chhabra makes a very good directorial debut with this one. His narration is wonderful and we hope that he makes more films.

Alekh (Story) – Patkatha (Screenplay)

Dil Bechara is about Kizie (Sanjana Sanghi) and Manny (Sushant Singh Rajput). While the former is suffering from thyroid cancer, the latter was previously diagnosed with osteosarcoma and is in remission. Soon, love blossoms between them, and just like every love story we are left thinking that whether they will have a happy ending or not.

The screenplay of the movie is adapted by Shashank Khaitan and Suprotim Sengupta, and they have done a wonderful job. The first half of the film is super entertaining and though the film becomes a bit slow in the second half, Mukesh Chabbra’s narration saves it and you don’t get bored at all.

Also, not to forget that the film has been shot beautiful and edited perfectly.

Abhineta (Actors)

This is Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film and he once again proves that he was one of the best actors we had in the industry. He is wonderful. Sanjana Sanghi is exceptional as Kizie, she is truly the soul of the film. The movie also has a very strong supporting cast. Swastika Mukherjee as Kizie’s mom is damn good, Sahil Vaid is good in his part, and Saswata Chatterjee also leaves a mark.

Geet Sangeet (Music)

The music of the song is composed by AR Rahman, so of course, the songs have to amazing. You will be humming Main Tumhara after the film gets over.

Nirnay (FilmyCurry Verdict)

Dil Bechara is a beautiful love story. It has everything that a romantic film needs to have.
