The trailer of Game Over was amazing and it made us eager to watch the film. The trailer itself had so many moments that made us scared, so the expectations from the film were quite high. Thankfully, the movie doesn’t disappoint, but then it is also not a brilliant watch.
Alekh (Story) – Patkatha (Screenplay)
Swapna (Taapsee Pannu) is scared of darkness. She starts feeling breathless if she stays in dark for 2 mins. This is because of an incident that happened with her. The story is mainly about overcoming your fear, but the makers have very well mixed psychology and supernatural stuff here.
Yes, we cannot reveal much about the story line of the film as there multiple sub-plots in it. But we have to say that if you love watching thrillers that give you jerks than Game Over is a must watch.
However, that doesn’t mean that the film has no flaws. The screenplay in the first half could have been better as a few scenes turn out to be a bit boring. But the second half takes the movie to another level, impressing us a lot.
Taapsee Pannu has carried the film on her shoulder. Without Taapsee this film is nothing. The actress is simply brilliant in each and every scene. Vinodhini has done a good job as Kalama.
Geet Sangeet (Music)
There are no songs in the film, but the background score is just perfect for a thriller.
Nirnay (FilmyCurry Verdict)
Game Over is an impressive psychological thriller that we love it because the makers have tried something new and unique.
