Making a movie on a real-life incident that too a terrorist attack is surely not an easy task. It might clearly go wrong, but that doesn’t happen here with Hotel Mumbai. Anthony Maras has very narrated the film with some really good detailing. Though of course, it feels very sad to see the event once again on the big screen in front of our eyes, as a movie Hotel Mumbai is simply outstanding.
Alekh (Story) – Patkatha (Screenplay)
So, the movie is basically about how the chefs working in the Taj Hotel, Mumbai try to save the guests in the hotel without thinking about their lives. It is surely a very emotional story. John Collee and Anthony Maras have come up with a screenplay that will keep you on the edge-of-the-seat, it will make you cry and it will also make you scared thinking about the real-life incident.
The movie has scenes that would make you uncomfortable. So, people who are faint hearted can think twice before watching this movie. Also, we loved how the detailing has been done by the writers and this movie actually a tribute to all the unsung heroes of the Taj Hotel who saved the lives of many guests.
Each and every actor has given a top notch performance. Dev Patel is at his best and is surely making India proud by starring in such amazing movies. Anupam Kher gives a brilliant performance. Suhail Nayyar leaves a mark with his negative act. He is clearly one of the best talents in the industry right now. There are senior actors like Dev Patel and Anupam Kher, but Nayyar stands out.
Geet Sangeet (Music)
Songs don’t have any scope in the film. But yes, the background score is just perfect and will make your heart pound.
Nirnay (FilmyCurry Verdict)
Hotel Mumbai is clearly one of the best films made on the subject of 26/11. A must watch!
