After Mimi and Shiddat, now Maddock Films’ third film, Hum Do Hamare Do has got a direct-to-digital release. The movie stars Rajkummar Rao, Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal, and Ratna Pathak Shah.

Hum Do Hamare Do is about an orphan man named Dhruv (Rajkummar Rao). At the launch of his app, he meets Anya (Kriti Sanon). Love blossoms between them, and Dhruv wants to marry Anya. But, Anya wants to marry a guy who has a family and a dog. Well, Dhruv can adopt a dog, but what about family. So, he makes a plan to present fake parents in front of Anya. Enters Purushottam Mishra (Paresh Rawal) and Dipti Kashyap (Ratna Pathak Shah). They play the role of his fake parents. However, soon they actually become a family. But, what will happen when Anya will come to know about this fake parents of Dhruv?

The film is directed by Abhishek Jain, and we have to say that he along with his team of writers have come up with a good film. It has a few flaws, especially in the first half. The scenes where Dhruv and Anya’s relationship is building up aren’t exciting, but the movie gets better as it moves further and pre-climax and climax portions are damn good.

Performance wise, Paresh Rawal and Ratna Pathak Shah steal the show. Their comic timing is just perfect. Rajkummar Rao has done good job and even Kriti Sanon leaves a mark. Other supporting actors like Aparshakti Khurana, Manu Rishi Chadha, and Prachee Shah Paandya are good in their respective roles.

On the whole, Hum Do Hamare Do is a decent. You can watch it once with your family this festive season.
