On Wednesday morning we woke up with the news that Parineeti Chopra has been roped in to play the lead role in the Hindi remake of The Girl On The Train. Well, of course, Parineeti’s fans jumped with joy. But a big question here is will Parineeti be able to be at par of Emily Blunt?   The Girl On The Train is one of the best thrillers you would have ever seen on the big screen and Blunt’s performance was undoubtedly one of the highlights of the film. Her performance got her a nomination at BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role.   Well, before we move forward, we are not saying that Parineeti is not talented. Earlier, in her career, she has given some fantastic performances, but we cannot ignore that a few wrong choices have taken her off from the best actresses’ league. Her last film was Kesari in which she hardly had any role and before that she starred in Namaste England for which she was bashed left and right.   Maybe for a role like this, the makers should have opted for a matured actress. Once again I am not age-shaming anyone here, but a senior actress with much more experience could have pulled the role better. However, we are sure Parineeti will give her 100 percent and we hope she does justice to the role.   Meanwhile, watch the trailer of The Girl On the Train here…   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y5yk-HGqKmM
