We are happy to put out that Bollywood has a new cute pair of Sara Ali Khan & Sushant Singh Rajput
Beautiful chemistry and even more beautiful visuals make this film a good watch, though the same was not anticipated from the trailer.
The love story will capture you the most. Somewhere close to a heart-touching love story, the film majorly winds us over with its lead pair.
Also, beware, there is a Cuteness and Innocence overload alert!

Ronnie Screwvala and Abhishek Kapoor gave us some memorable movies like Rock On and Kai Po Che where they launched Farhan Akhtar and Sushant Singh Rajput respectively, and this time its Sara Ali Khan’s launch.
Given the director’s execution, a complementing cast, this was a near perfect debut launch for Sara. The story pillar just went a little shaky.
Alekh (Story) – Patkatha (Screenplay)
We know the basic story from the trailer itself and genuinely we didn’t expect much. May be now that’s one reason why we ended up liking the film because there were less expectations.
Kanika Dhillon’s story has a good mix of love story, religious clash and natural calamity. Nothing has been given importance, which can be seen as a negative because the film lacked purpose for some. At the same time, it is a positive trait in a film because nothing has been overdone to bore the audiences.
The first half has some good escalation and is interesting than the declining second half. The latter might be weak in comparison but is totally watchable because the lead pair never ceases to charm us with their chemistry. Climax is the best part because it comes in as unpredicted.
While the VFX pendulums between some super shots to other mediocre ones, the cinematography is incredible. And besides the stunning backdrop, we just couldn’t take our eyes off Sara.
Let’s start with debutant Sara only. She is ‘fatakedaar’. Her parents will be so proud when they will see their daughter’s work. No one can say that it’s her first movie, the kind of confidence she carries and the karisma, it is unbelievable. Natural in her act, smiling face, Sara is cute with innocence and convincing in anger mode.
We are sure that Sushant is one actor who just makes it so much easy for his director and actor. He looked adorable in the ‘bhola bhaala’ act.
Nishant Dahiya has decent screen time and does a decent job as well. Pooja Gaur was attractive and should have given more screen time.
Geet Sangeet (Music)
Except sweetheart, all other songs are used as a background score and couldn’t create any effect. For the first time there is not a single chartbuster track in Abhishek Kapoor and Amit Trivedi association.
The background music is nice compared to songs and is more impactful.
Nirnay (FilmyCurry Verdict)
Predominantly, watch this movie for debutant Sara. Then watch it for her chemistry with Sushant. If you need another reason, we have breathtaking visuals as the answer.
The entire film may not be that worthwhile, but then you wont even regret a bit by investing your valuable time in this movie.
