#MeToo is gearing up, and past or present, no minor or major incident is spared now, and well shouldn’t be. So, this incident that allegedly took place in August accused Sushant Singh Rajput of being over ‘friendly’ by his Kizie Aur Manny co-star, Sanjana Sanghi.

A report in DNA claims that the debutant, Sanjana, felt uncomfortable.

“On one occasion, she seemed to have got uncomfortable and apparently brought it to the notice of her parents, who reportedly told her to return to the set only if she felt she should. One hears that as of now, shooting has come to a standstill.”

To which the Fox Star Studios stated that the safety of their stars was very important to them. “We, as a studio, take the safety of our talent and crew with utmost seriousness. No such incident has happened on our sets and shoot has not been suspended. As a matter of fact, the final schedule of our shoot is on as we speak. We are looking forward to releasing the film in 2019.”

Now, almost two months later, in wake of #MeToo movement, Sushant took to Twitter for clarification, by posting screenshots of his conversation with Sanjana Sanghi:

Regarding the same, Mukesh Chhabra tweeted how everything was okay on the sets, a few months ago.

But now, four aspiring actors had accused Mr. Chhabra and another casting director Vicky Sidana of harassing them during auditions.

Following these allegations of sexual harassment against Mukesh Chhabra, Fox Star Studios has suspended the services of Bollywood’s leading casting director who was helming his directorial debut, Kizie Aur Manny.

“As a responsible organization, Star India takes any allegations of sexual harassment of women at workplace very seriously,” said the statement.
