We can never forget the horrific terror attacks that took place in Mumbai on 26th November 2008. We have seen many films and web series that revolved around the attacks, and now, a medical drama set against the backdrop of the attacks has started streaming on Amazon Prime Video. We are talking about Mumbai Diaries 26/11 which stars Konkona Sensharma and Mohit Raina in the lead roles.
Till now, films or series based on the attacks mainly concentrated on the cops or the commandos who saved lives during the horrific incident. But, this is the first time, we are getting to watch a series that showcases how medical staff faced issues during the attacks.
From the first episode itself, the series keeps us hooked, and there are a few scenes that are difficult to digest. This series is surely not for faint-hearted and we are sure while watching it, you will get goosebumps.
The series stars some of the most talented actors from the industry. Konkona Sensharma is excellent in her role, and we simply can’t imagine any other actress in this role. We won’t be surprised if she wins Best Actress OTT awards for her performance in this one. Mohit Raina is a revelation, and once again proves his versatility.
Satyajeet Dubey, Natasha Bharadwaj, and Mrunmayee Deshpande leave a strong impact with their performances. Shreya Dhanwanthary is also damn good as Mansi (journalist) in the series.
On the whole, Mumbai Diaries 26/11 is undoubtedly one of the best web series we have seen this year.
