After reading the headline you might have thought that maybe Nawazuddin Siddiqui or any of his family members have been tested positive for COVID-19. But well, thankfully that’s not the case. The actor traveled from Mumbai to Budhana, Muzaffarnagar, UP at his native place because of which he has been told to home quarantine.

According to the government rule, if you travel from one place to another, after reaching the destination, you have to get tested for coronavirus and quarantine yourself. While Nawaz and his family have been tested negative, they have been told to home quarantine.

According to a report in IANS, the actor traveled from Mumbai to UP in a private car along with a few family members. He was granted a travel pass for the same. Well, let’s hope that Nawaz and his family are safe.

Meanwhile, Nawaz is gearing up for the digital release of his much-delayed film Ghoomketu which will release on Zee5 on 22nd May 2020.
