Ranbir Kapoor’s look in the role of a dacoit in YRF’s ‘Shamshera’ is already out and we just loved it.

We don’t have to wait for his next film after Sanju, the makers have already given us a piece of the cake.

And now there is some more good news. The director Karan Malhotra has roped in Sanjay Dutt too, and the actor will play a ‘Khalnayak’ in Ranbir Kapoor’s war hero film.

We thought we will see both the actors together in Sanju towards the climax. However, this is the first time the two actors will be seen sharing screen space.

Yash Raj Films tweeted:

The director quoted, “Shamshera is a ferocious and fearless character in the film. Therefore, his nemesis, the villain had to be even more fierce and monumental in every aspect. Who better than Sanjay sir to give us that impact on screen?”

Even Sanjay Dutt is quite excited about his first YRF film, he said, “My father and Yash (Chopra) uncle were close friends and now that I’m doing my first YRF film, it is an extremely emotional moment for me. When I heard Karan’s idea to pit Ranbir against me, I thought it was brilliant. I look forward to shooting this incredibly exciting film, my second with the hugely-talented Karan Malhotra.”

‘Shamshera’ is set to go on the floors by the end of this year.
