Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on Sunday. Well, a few celebs and people on social media have started blaming Bollywood biggies for Sushant’s demise. And well, now a film will be made inspired by the life of the actor.
Titled Suicide or Murder, the movie will be produced by Vijay Shekhar Gupta and directed by Shamik Maulik. While talking about it to Navbharat Times, Gupta said, “I am making this film to end the monopoly of the big stars and production houses of the film industry.”
“Through this film, I will fully expose Bollywood. Today, the children who come from outside, even if they are capable, they do not get the right opportunities because of the gang that has formed inside the film industry. I want to break this gang. My story will show everything that was done wrong with Sushant. That boy was forced to end his life. He was bullied by people and boycotted and was even fired from several films back-to-back,” he added.
He further cleared that it’s not a proper biopic on him, but inspired by Sushant’s life. He said, “The film is not a biopic but is rather inspired by Sushant’s life. It will spill the beans on many secrets of the film industry. Everyone has equal right on films and Bollywood, be it a person belonging to a B-Town family or some outsider.”
Well, Sushant’s demise has once again started the debate on star kids getting more preference in Bollywood and outsiders being ignored.
