Nirmata (Makers)

Reliance Entertainment is having a great 2019. Mostly all their films have turned out to be a hit. Now, their last release for the year is Panipat, a big scale movie directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. He has narrated the film to his best. But looks like Ashutosh forgot that there’s a thing called editing and you need to chop scenes out.

Alekh (Story) – Patkatha (Screenplay)

We have read about the Battle Of Panipat in our history books. It was fought between Marathas and Afghans. Sadashiv Rao Bhau (Arjun Kapoor) led the troop of Marathas and Ahmed Shah Abdali (Sanjay Dutt) led the troop of Afghans.
The biggest problem with Panipat is that the writers have gone into too much of detailing and the screenplay during the detailing is not engaging. The first half lacks a lot of things and fails to keep us hooked to the screens. But the writers saved the best for second half. The movie picks up amazingly in the second half, taking it to a better level.

Abhineta (Actors)

Arjun Kapoor is good in his part but he could have been better. Kriti Sanon is the star of the film. She has done a fantastic job and we loved her in the movie. Sanjay Dutt is bad and we hope the makers opted to cast someone else. Zeenat Aman has been wasted.

Geet Sangeet (Music)

The songs are good. Our favorite is Mard Maratha. Even Mere Mann Mein Shiva leaves a mark.

Nirnay (FilmyCurry Verdict)

Panipat is an entertaining film and opens up a very important chapter of our history.
