Phantom Films, a production company started by filmmakers Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, Vikas Bahl and producer Madhu Mantena in 2011, has announced their dissolution.
The production house has given us some amazing films like Queen, Masaan, Udta Punjab, Trapped, Manmarziyaan and more, and we surely are going to miss the:
- credit call that said ‘Fuh se Phantom’ and used to remind us all our school days when we had to repeat every word the teacher said.
This credit call will now be last heard in Hrithik Roshan-starrer Super 30, which is currently under production.
2.class and vibe the films had, nothing extraordinary yet so striking every single time. If the film didn’t work on the box office or with the audiences, the film surely did have something completely unusual about it.
- hope of watching a good film because a Phantom production was always something distinct
Phantom Films was formed in 2011 and in March 2015, Reliance Entertainment had picked up 50% stake in the company. All the partners will continue to work with Reliance Entertainment individually.
