Race 3, Salman Khan should not take his fans for granted
Well, our three pointers are enough to tell you how the movie is:
- We missed Saif Ali Khan, nobody can make up for the class and style he added to the series
- We feel bad for Bobby’s comeback to action-thriller genre after 6 years after the film Players in 2012. We feel bad for Anil Kapoor, we are sure he did this film out of courtesy
- The movie is Crapola, till the hero doesn’t finish his slow motion, no villain can fire!
Okay now the review…
Watch it If you like -
Cinematography is good. Otherwise, if you’re in for some meaningless stance, stares and poses then you might like this film
But Beware of -
Everything is meaningless, after a point, you will just want to rush out of this race

Remo D’Souza made us miss the action-thriller gurus Abbas-Mustan, not that we would have expected much from them after their last two releases, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon and Machine.
In his 5th film as a director, Remo literally made us yawn, be it in action or dance sequences. We expected more to be honest.
Alekh (Story) – Patkatha (Screenplay)
Talk about yawn, doing that already while writing the review as well, god bless those who watch the film even after reading it.
And we can’t just believe that it’s the same Shiraz Ahmed who did the script for the first two parts; the writing here is that bad.
We just wished Remo added literal style to such a script, but that too was hollow.
All the focus was on slow-motion unconvincing action, songs, hollow style, intense stares, flying cars and flying heroes. Yes, you will get to see Remo’s Flying Jatt here too (wink). Watch the trailer and you’ll see a glimpse. Then there is this girl-fight sequence, where both the leading ladies are doing the same stunts. The villains can and will only fire after the hero’s slow-motion act is over. There is no focus on the story. There is no focus on sense.
Yes, we agree, you can’t make films out and out logical, but at least whatever a film is showing must be convincing, if not sensible.
The twists are amateur and predictable., they make you say ‘please yaar’. The dialogues are silly. The action is good in parts but nothing we haven’t seen-before. The movie confuses you, whether to be angry for taking us for granted or whether to laugh at silliness we are shown. Even the humor dose added seemed non-classy. And 3D, it is hardly there.
Geet Sangeet (Music)
Songs are average. Background score by Salim Sulaiman, better. The film even spoiled the very energetic ‘Allah Duhai Hai’ for us.
Mr. Anil Kapoor, good in his act, added some style to this series but even this always-dashing actor couldn’t save the film.
Salman Khan looks sluggish and acted in the same manner. His best scene was in the end, when he smiled.
Jacqueline Fernandez’s same old same old act. Bobby Deol looked good, acted decently. Daisy Shah and Saqib Saleem were okay too. Freddy Daruwala was very average.
Nirnay (FilmyCurry Verdict)
It lacks the pumping and classy spirit the race series had. It is just a Dubai holiday.
‘Their Film’ is their film. None of us should ‘Their Film’.
