Sardaarji 2 promises to delight us again by being an out and out family entertainer
The comedy genre comes easy and naturally when it’s the language Punjabi because of one simple reason, the language is high spirited, carefree and thus fun.
And as it the heart of most Punjabi films is humor and when its Diljit, you know you are going in for a booster entertainment dose.
Well, with comedy comes unrealism and flaws and this one may be better or not than its prequel, but for sure is a booster dose that renews the effect of the earlier one and that can be enjoyed with friends and family.

Nirmata (Makers) ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰ
From the makers of Sardaarji, director Rohit Jugraj with White Hill Productions, this return of Sardaarji will be naturally compared to its sequel and gather mixed reviews, but somewhere it is better when it comes to story.
Alekh (Story) – Patkatha (Screenplay)
This part has a better story, more convincing and valid, and that too with a strong message, on the prevalent conditions of the farmers in Punjab.
What’s more in the story, well that’s the thing about comedy films, their stories are very simple and at times roam around funny thoughtless plots to add humor. So telling anything about the story will spoil the movie charm.
Talking about the script, the songs which are great should have had less space onscreen, which could have chopped off movie duration and hence worked in favor. The dialogues are fun but those stomach aching laughter ones are few. It’s more of Diljit’s charm and comic timing in the dialogues that will make you laugh. Also the climax is dragged quite a bit.
On the other hand, the locations were good. The songs, no matter how many were popping up, just will make you want to get up and dance. Few cute and super fun elements in the fun, like Diljit farm produce and the ice cream truck and that GPS monitor it has, once you watch the film, you’ll know.
And last but not the least, Diljit, as for in this movie, it’s his show totally.
Abhineta (Actors) ਅਦਾਕਾਰ
Diljit Dosanjh is fabulous inhis role, every scene, every dialogue, one can see he enacts it just perfectly, in fact he is over the top effortless with his roles. And in comedy genre, he is impressively natural.
Monica Gill as Sohni, attractive and really wonderful, energetic and very natural in her act while Sonam Bajwa looks pretty but is good in very few parts. And those very few parts make you laugh, guess her role should have been more established.
Yashpal Sharma is okay in his role and Jaswinder Bhalla, as always win our hearts with his performance, one cannot just get enough of him and his actin ever.
Geet Sangeet (Music)
The songs are all great and high spirited, the visuals and choreography apt.
Nirnay (FilmCurry Verdict) ਸਿੱਟਾ
Diljit fans don’t need a reason to watch this one. Comedy lovers too either. For all others, laughter is the best medicine and entertainment, so go for it.
