Nowadays, the digital world is getting very crowded. Mostly, every day there’s one film or a web series that’s released on any of the OTT platforms. Also, not to forget, most of the series that are released nowadays are thrillers. So, it surely becomes difficult to choose which one to watch and which one to skip. But well, if you are planning to skip Sony Liv’s Undekhi, then let us tell you you are doing a mistake.

Undekhi is just like its title something that we haven’t seen before. It tells the story of Atwal family. It’s their son’s wedding and like every rich family its a lavish wedding taking place in Manali. But at a party, only organised for men of the house, the drunken Papaji (Harsh Chhaya) shoots a dancer with his gun at the party. Well, this whole crime is recorded by the videographer, so now, what will happen next takes the story forward…

After watching the first couple of episodes of the series you might feel it’s like a run-of-the-mill thriller. However, the writers surprise us further by taking a different route and impressing us with their script.

While the script and narration are good, it’s the performances that take the series a notch higher. Especially, the performance of Harsh Chhaya. He is simply exceptional as the alcoholic head of the family and proves that only an experienced actor like him could have carried this role. Other actors like Abhishek Chauhan, Ankur Rathee, Apeksha Porwal, Surya Sharma, and Dibyendu Bhattacharya are amazing in their respective roles.

On the whole, Undekhi is a very well written, narrated, and performed thriller. It surely deserves to be on your binge-watch list.
