A few days ago, Rhea Chakraborty was arrested by NCB in the drug peddling case. She had filed for a bail plea which was rejected. But today, she filed a plea again and in that, her lawyer has stated that Rhea was forced by NCB to make the incriminatory confession.

The plea read, “She has not committed any crime whatsoever and has been falsely implicated in the case,” said the plea, adding that the actress “was coerced into making self-incriminatory confessions and by her application, on September 8 the applicant has formally retracted all such incriminatory confessions.”

The plea also read that Supreme Court’s guidelines were not followed. “There was not a single lady officer who interrogated the present applicant as mandated by law. The Hon’ble Supreme Court in the case of Sheela Barse VS State Maharashtra, has held that the interrogation of females should be carried out only in the presence of a female police officer/constable,” the plea said.

Well, today, there was a hearing of the plea and the decision on Rhea’s bail will be taken tomorrow. So, let’s wait and watch if she will get a plea tomorrow.
